Societe Generale Branch in Poland is an important participant of the treasury securities market and a leading bank in FX, interest rates and hedging transactions markets. The bank is a Primary Dealer in Poland since the first edition of the Ministry of Finance competition.

Societe Generale Branch in Poland tailors solutions for issuers in terms of financing, advisory and market access. The bank has extensive expertise in structured finance, project finance and syndicated loans. Societe Generale has been providing securities services through its Warsaw Branch for more than 20 years. It is a leading provider of clearing for cash equity and derivatives quoted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. It also delivers a full suite of services associated with both local and global custody to financial institutions, brokers and corporates. With 22 offices in 17 countries and 4,000 employees, Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) is among top ten global custodians and the 3rd largest European custodian with EUR 4,994 billion of assets under custody at the end of March 2024.

Cash Management, Electronic Banking and Foreign Trade Services

In the scope of the Global Transaction Payment Services (GTPS) business line, Societe Generale Branch in Poland provides comprehensive current account services including cash management, electronic banking and cash pooling. The bank also offers a full range of services related to foreign trade transactions comprising documentary transactions, pre-financing and post-financing of export.

Global Solution Center

Since 2019, Societe Generale Group has been leveraging the local presence of the Branch in Poland to support the Group’s worldwide investment banking activities.  In May 2024, the Group opened a Global Solution Center within the Branch. With nearly 200 specialists already onboard, the center specializes in delivering superior Know Your Customer, Global Transaction Payment, Risk Management and IT services.
