Societe Generale has been operating in Poland since 1976, being one of the longest-established international banking institutions in the country. The Branch in Poland started its corporate and investment banking operations in 1992 to quickly become a leading partner for Polish and international corporations, financial institutions as well as public sector.
In May 2024, the Group launched the Global Solution Center, conducting its activities within the Branch in Warsaw. The Center provides business solutions to the Group's international operations and provides superior customer service in areas of Know Your Customer, Global Transaction Payment, IT and Risk Management.
Societe Generale in Poland provides also insurance services through Sogecap/Sogessur Branch, leasing services via SG Equipment Finance and Ayvens (formerly ALD Automotive and LeasePlan) for vehicle rental, financing and fleet management.
